Corona vaccine made nine billionaires, including Poonawala

The People's Vaccine Alliance said this before the Global Health Summit of the leaders of the G-20 countries. According to the People's Alliance, nine people have become billionaires since the onset of the Corona epidemic. All of them are associated in some way with the companies making the Corona vaccine.


People's Alliance says that the wealth of these nine billionaires is $ 19.3 billion (about 1.44 lakh crore rupees).

Apart from these, there has been a significant increase in the wealth of billionaire people from earlier. 

The wealth of Cyrus Institute of India's  founder Cyrus Poonawala was $ 8.2 billion (about Rs 61 thousand crore) last year, which has increased to $ 12.7 billion (about Rs 95 thousand crore) this year. 


Cadila Healthcare chief Pankaj Patel's assets have also gone up to $ 5 billion (about Rs 37,500 crore).
